LIFE GROUPS

House of Hope places a great deal of emphasis on Life groups.

 

“A Disciple is one who grows in Christ and in so doing models and teaches other Christians the precepts of the Bible that includes prayer, doctrine, relationship, Christian living, service, and worship”.

 

Every alternate week on Fridays, church members get together in the cities of Mississauga and Brampton for our Life groups meetings. These are informal, yet structured meetings that last for 90 minutes which include a short prayer, a time of Worship, testimonies of God’s goodness over the previous 2 weeks, and a discussion of a specific passage from the Bible. The informal nature of these meetings helps individuals to ‘open up’ and freely ask questions that would otherwise be impossible in a church setting. These meetings are the key to building relationships between church members and also to align oneself to a mentor within the church.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth ministry aims to help teens and young adults realize the love of God and develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. At our meetings, they are trained in biblical principles, receive an opportunity to share and connect with others within their peer group, and receive support from our church leadership.

 

Our youth are mentored and encouraged to actively serve within the church; whether that be through music, media such as film, creative performances, or aiding in the children's ministry. We invite you to join us for our monthly meetings, and social gatherings!

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God's children, we are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

 

We prioritize in giving them opportunities tuned in to their emotions through children's worship, Vacation Bible School, regular Bible lessons on a weekly basis, which will help them to be spiritually responsive. In our church we provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
